Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
- Oversee cost controls, revenue tracking, and financial performance within the hospitality environment.
- Ensure the accurate processing of invoices, payments, and supplier accounts.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cashbooks, and POS systems.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including VAT, tax returns, and audits.
- Liaise with internal departments and External Auditors.
- Implement and maintain effective financial policies and procedures.
- Provide financial insights to management and support operational decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 510 years experience in an accounting role, with at least 3 years at a senior level.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of hospitality revenue systems, stock control, and cost management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
