Description:
Technical Competencies and responsibilitiesSourcing and researching potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization. Negotiating favourable terms with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms. Ensuring timely and accurate placement of purchase orders and manage the procurement process from start to finish. Analyzing spending patterns and identify opportunities to reduce costs through bulk purchasing, supplier negotiations, and process improvements. Monitoring and tracking procurement spending, providing regular reports on expenditures and cost savings. Monitoring inventory levels and work with logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Assessing the financial stability and operational capabilities of suppliers to mitigate potential risks. Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
