A global leader in optical and healthcare innovation is seeking a skilled Cost & Management Accountant to support its finance function. In this role, youll help drive efficiency, inform strategic decisions, and ensure financial transparency across international operations.As the Cost & Management Accountant, you will manage the full cycle of foreign and inter-company creditors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in documentation, payments, and reconciliations. Your work will be key to maintaining clean inter-company accounts, facilitating prompt foreign payments, and ensuring the correct recording of inventory and cost of sales. Youll also play a critical role in upholding both local and international financial and tax standards.
As a Cost & Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
Develop and maintain robust cost accounting systems and procedures. Analyze cost variances and provide detailed management reports. Monitor operational and manufacturing costs, identifying opportunities for cost efficiency. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports. Participate in month-end closing activities, including inventory valuation. Conduct profitability analysis across products, services, and business units. Collaborate with supply chain and operations to align financial data with business strategy. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Qualifications and Skills:
BCom in Finance (or equivalent) Minimum 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with foreign creditors, FX revaluations, and inter-company reconciliations Strong understanding of tax submissions and general ledger reconciliations Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and maintain compliance with financial policies
