Description:
Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts Perform daily bank reconciliations and handle cashbook processing Capture and reconcile debtors and creditors Assist in preparing and processing month-end journals Ensure all vehicle and parts transactions are accurately captured Monitor and manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations Support the Accountant in auditing and compliance tasks Maintain and ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts Assist in VAT, PAYE, and other statutory return preparations Liaise with relevant departments to resolve queries timeously Requirements:
Minimum 3 years (compulsory) accounting, assistant accountant experience in a dealership environment Strong understanding of dealership accounting principles and processes High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications Experience on Evolve Dealer Management System will be an added advantage Automotive Industry experience Essential!!
