Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of the maintenance department

Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimise downtime

Coordinate repairs and maintenance of production equipment, machinery, and facilities
-
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
-
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and artisans
-
Maintain records of maintenance schedules, incidents, and repair histories
-
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals
-
Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement of parts and services
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function
-
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to production
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance Leadership, preferably within a manufacturing environment
-
Proven ability to lead a technical team and manage maintenance schedules effectively
-
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
-
Hands-on, solutions-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
-
Trade Tested and relevant tertiary education advantageous
