Description:
My Client operates within the Industrial, Food and Beverage, and Facilities Maintenance sector and have been a renowned name in the industry for close to 40 years. This role has a matrix reporting structure to both the Finance and General Manager.Minimum Requirements:
- Completed Financial Qualification
- 4+ years hands-on experience in a financial/accounting role within the Industrial or Hospitality sector
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Prepare financial reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Monitor and analyze departmental budgets for cost optimization
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and tax laws
- Keep asset lists updated and signed off on monthly
- Support the preparation and submission of tax returns
