Job & Company DescriptionsMy client is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper with excellent Pastel and Excel abilities to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time position that requires a strong financial background, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for one entity with two separate financial profiles. Most debtor and payment data (load sheets and payment schedules) are provided, especially from our key partner. However, accuracy, timely capturing, and reconciliation remain essential.
As a Bookkeeper , you will be responsible for the following:
Full-function double-entry bookkeeping to trial balance Daily bank reconciliations and managing two separate bank accounts and two Pastel profiles Debtors capturing and reconciliation, including invoicing based on a monthly load sheet and accurate allocation of incoming payments Creditors capturing and reconciliation, particularly focused on fleet-related suppliers Fleet management accounting including: Load, payment, and fuel consumption recon Tracking insurance, maintenance, repairs, acquisitions, and de-fleeting Supervise and monitor fuel usage Maintain strong client and supplier relationships Ensure all fleet-related invoices are captured per individual truck, aiding in precise project-based reporting
Qualifications and Skills:
Completed Bcom in Finance
Excellent Pastel and Excel skills (essential)
Background in finance or bookkeeping
Experience with fleet accounting is highly advantageous
