Your Operational Experience Includes:
- Full hands-on ownership of the finance function
- Close involvement in debtors, creditors, cashbook, payroll, GL and stock functions
- Managing cash flow, working capital and cost control daily
- Partnering with operations, production, supply chain or sales teams
- Reviewing journals and reconciliations and resolving variances at their source
- Driving financial discipline and accountability across departments
- Preparing management accounts with real operational insight, not just commentary
- Improving processes, tightening controls and fixing inefficiencies
- Leading small- to mid-sized finance teams in busy environments
Skills & Experience Im Looking For:- Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar (CA(SA) advantageous but not essential)
- Proven experience in a strongly operational Financial Manager role
- Background in manufacturing, FMCG, retail, logistics, distribution or production environments preferred
- Comfortable in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
- Strong Excel and system exposure (ERP experience essential)
- Confident communicator who can challenge operations constructively
- Detail-driven, resilient, and comfortable being hands-on
