RPO Recruitment's client, a leading consulting engineering firm in Pretoria is seeking a professionally registered Civil Engineering Technologist to join their dynamic Water Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to impactful water infrastructure projects within a reputable consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Preparation of technical reports, designs, drawings, and specifications
- Perform hydraulic calculations and modelling for water-related projects
- Assist with contract administration and site supervision where required
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Support project delivery from concept through to completion
Requirements:
- BTech/BEng Tech in Civil Engineering
- Professionally registered with ECSA as a Pr Tech Eng
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the civil engineering water sector
- Experience in water and wastewater infrastructure (pipelines, pump stations, treatment works, etc.)
- Proficiency in relevant design software and MS Office
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
