Job Title: Microbiologist Lab Assistant Report to: Operations

Role SummaryThe Microbiologist will conduct various microbiological tasks across both Fungi and Inoculants laboratories. The incumbent will be responsible for communicating daily activities to the Senior Microbiologist and Quality Manager to ensure the timely release of results and the smooth execution of routine laboratory operations.

Media Preparation Housekeeping Quality Control Testing General DutiesKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Turnaround times for testing Accurate record of routine stock takes to inform procurement Timeous updating of QC database Release of results within agreed timeframesQualifications & ExperienceNational Diploma in Biotechnology or equivalent (essential)
