Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud O&M Engineer for a 12-month contract with Huawei.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end stability, maintenance, and operational excellence of the HUAWEI CLOUD Stack platform. This role requires a proactive technical expert capable of handling routine monitoring, complex troubleshooting, and emergency recovery in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Resolve routine and complex issues within the HUAWEI CLOUD Stack. Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) and lead recovery efforts.
  • Emergency Fault Recovery: Act as the primary technical point of contact during service interruptions, collaborating with the Huawei Technical Support Center (TAC) to rectify faults and restore services.
  • Data Protection & Continuity: Execute comprehensive backup and restoration protocols for management data to ensure 100% service continuity and prevent data loss.
  • Change Management: Formulate, review, and implement configuration changes. Manage the full change lifecycle from preparation and acceptance to result confirmation.
  • Routine Operations (O&M): Conduct periodic system inspections and real-time monitoring (5x8) to track alarms and handle abnormal inspection results.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, evaluate, and clear risks on the live network to ensure maximum stability and security.
  • TAC Liaison: Efficiently collect problem/fault information and escalate to the remote Technical Support Center when necessary to ensure rapid resolution.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically within the HUAWEI CLOUD Stack platform and associated cloud services.
  • O&M Proficiency: Strong background in Cloud Operations & Maintenance, with a focus on problem-locating and performance-tuning.
  • Infrastructure Skills: Experience with distributed system architectures, data backup technologies, and cloud monitoring tools.
  • Certifications: Huawei-specific certifications ( HCIA, HCIP, or HCIE-Cloud Computing ) are highly advantageous and preferred.
  • Methodology: Solid understanding of change management processes and risk assessment within a live network environment.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate technical analysis effectively to both customers and back-end support teams.
