The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Coordination of production activities and resources so that planned products are produced to requirements, quality standards, and within budget. Ensure Occupational Health and Safety standards are maintained. Manage and develop subordinates. Coordinate production and maintenance activities, ensuring planned maintenance and quality is achieved. Production is done within cost structures.The candidate must have the following:
Grade 12, coupled with a Production Management-related qualification and a minimum of 5 years in a similar position, is preferable. A high level of numerical ability, strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to manage staff and to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel. Be able to coordinate production activities, have experience in Industrial Relations and Occupational Health and Safety systems.
