Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Gordon's Bay

Job Type: 2-3 hours per day (Part time)

Salary: Market related hourly rate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, payroll processing and serving as main point of contact between company, auditors and other professionals. Due to the expected working hours and hybrid working model, the candidate will be able to also service other clients and will not be required to work exclusively for the company.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Generate financial statements and reports in coordination with company auditors
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist with year-end audits and other financial administration as needed
  • Full payroll function
  • Ensure statutory compliance


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel or Xero preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Ability to work from home, as well as in office from time to time
  • Own laptop and reliable internet connection required
