Job Title: TesterResponsibilities:
- Developing and executing test cases to ensure software meets requirements and functions properly
- Identifying and documenting bugs and defects in software products
- Communicating with developers and other team members to resolve issues and improve software quality
- Participating in agile development process and advocating for quality assurance best practices
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and user needs
- Conducting regression testing to ensure software updates do not negatively impact existing functionality
- Creating test plans and strategies based on project requirements
- Providing feedback and suggestions for improving software usability and performance
- Keeping up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in software testing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a software tester or quality assurance professional
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with agile development processes
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques is a plus
- Certification in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) is a plus
