Description:

Dorking (a division of Finstone SA) is looking for a young Sales Assistant who is highly organized, administrative & sales orientated, professional and skilled with exceptional communication skills to fulfil the respective role.

Summary purpose/expectations:

The purpose of this role is to administer and coordinate customer’s base. General admiration and ensure the successful delivery of operations strategies. The respective role ensures consistent implementation of administration strategies, efficient, effective, smart and apply best practice.

Key deliverables:

Administration Recruit new customers:

  • Coordinate customers appointments.
  • Conduct price surveys on competitors / Build relationships through regular and proactive caring calls.
  • General correspondence and e-mails to clients according to company standards.
  • Ensure regular feedback reports.
  • Regular Stock Takings.
  • Ensure that customer queries are attended to and resolved.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Conduct client visits and product presentations.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on leads.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
  • Provide excellent after-sales service.

Survey target market:

  • Phone potential customers and set up meetings.

Teamwork and Self- Management:

  • Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.
  • Demonstrate consistent application of group and company procedures and policies.
  • Plan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands.
  • Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change.

Requirements :

Minimum Academic & Experience required for this position:

  • Grade 12

General:

  • The Applicant should be in residing in Brits or surrounding areas.
  • SA Citizen.
  • Valid SA code 08 driver licence and own vehicle.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to demonstrate professional judgment.
  • Ability to Influence, servant leadership, collaboration, and flexibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer relations, service, and ability to influence cross functionally by tailoring messaging for various stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels / functions of the organization across diverse cultures.
