A leading company in the manufacturing and distribution industry is looking for a proactive Business Representative to join their Sales & Marketing team. (Elandsfontein - Gauteng).- This role is key to driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring smooth business administration and stock control.
You’ll be responsible for canvassing and managing customers, supporting marketing strategies, monitoring stock, and ensuring compliance with company policies—all while delivering top-notch service. This is a hands-on role where strong commercial acumen, customer focus, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- This role is key to driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring smooth business administration and stock control.
- Diploma/Certificate (NQF 5) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Representative or in a similar sales role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office, SAP/ERP systems, Salesforce, or similar)
- South African Citizen with a valid driver’s licence
- Proven ability to manage sales administration, stock forecasting, and debtor relations
- Canvassing and opening new customer accounts, monitoring monthly sales, and achieving targets
- Provide monthly feedback and reporting to the Regional Manager
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional ideas in line with company strategy
- Host trade evenings and customer engagement events to grow market share
- Monitor stock availability, assist with forecasting, and support customers in stock management
- Support the debtors’ team to ensure effective collection and customer query resolution
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and financial controls
- Deliver excellent customer service, training, and product presentations
- Monitor costs, pricing structures, and gross profit margins
- Proactive and action-oriented
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent planning and organisational ability
- Customer-focused with resilience and adaptability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
KPIs Include
