Description:
Purpose:
The Site Supervisor is the link between communication and Operation at the Loading Point and Head Office. This Position ensures that Realtime information is available between the mine and the Transport Team on the current situation on loading, fleet availability and any anomalies that might exist. It is imperative that this position is well informed on any movements on the specific corridor. All information to be packaged and reported to the Regional Transport Manager on a continuous basis.
Education Requirements:
1. Matric / Grade 12
2. Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management would be advantageous
Experience:
1. 2-3 years Supervisory Experience in Warehouse, Logistics and or Transport environment
2. Must have experience in a producing mine
Skills:
1. Driver''s License
