Description:
On behalf of our client, a reputable and growing HVAC and Air Conditioning company based in the Roodeplaat / Derdepoort area, we are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC / Air Conditioning Technician to join their technical team.
This role is suited to a hands-on, technically skilled individual with strong fault-finding abilities and a solid understanding of HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on split units, VRV/VRF systems, and ducted systems Perform preventative maintenance and compliance inspections Ensure installations comply with safety and regulatory standards Complete job cards and technical reports accurately Liaise with clients professionally on-site Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained properly
Minimum Requirements
Relevant HVAC / Refrigeration qualification (Trade Test / Diploma / NQF equivalent) Valid Refrigerant Gas Handling License Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in HVAC / Air Conditioning Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license (essential) Ability to work independently and within a team Physically fit and able to work at heights where required
Advantageous
Experience with commercial HVAC systems Electrical knowledge related to HVAC installations Experience working on VRV / VRF systems Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
