Description:

• Repairing defective machine parts using welding and brazing tools.
• Aligning equipment using specialised tools, such as micrometres and plumb bobs
• Perfoming preventative maintenance procedures and accurately logging maintenance.
• Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities.
• Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities.
• Applying mechanical repair principles and procedures to ensure machinetu functions properly.
• Assembling machinery and equipment before installation using power tools and welding equipment.
• Perfoming diagnostics tests on functioning machinery to ensure its safe.
• Operating machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts necessary for the overhaul, maintenance, or set up of machinery.
• Adjusting complex machinery for new patterns and products.
• Identifying differences in dimensions and shapes of components.
• Disassembling machinery and transporting it to the appropriate storage.
• Cleaning and lubricating machinery

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be physically fit
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Operating heavy duty machinery
• Must be Trade Tested
• Over 5 years working experience as a Millwright
• Experience in assembling and disassembling mechanical equipment and industrial machinery
