Description:
Technical Draftsman. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative product and tool design projects in a dynamic engineering environment. Responsibilities- Create precise 2D technical drawings for manufacturing and tooling.
- Develop and refine 3D CAD models to support product and tool design.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
- Ensure all drawings and models meet industry standards and internal quality requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Matric certificate with passes in Mathematics and Physical Science .
- Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) or Technical Drawing as a subject.
- A Draughting Diploma or Certificate will be highly beneficial.
- Basic proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software) will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within tight tolerances.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced engineering environment.
