We currently have a vacancy for the position of Export Sales Assistant based at our Head Office in the West Rand. O verall purpose of the job: To support the Export Sales team in managing international customers, processing export orders, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth execution of overseas sales operations.Key Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
1. Sales & Customer Support

Assist the Export Sales Manager in handling international client accounts.

Prepare quotations, proforma invoices, and sales contracts.
-
Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely manner.
-
Maintain strong relationships with overseas distributors and customers.
-
Follow up on payments and outstanding balances.
2. Order Processing & Documentation
-
Process export orders accurately in the system.
-
Prepare and review export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, etc.).
-
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
-
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
3. Logistics Coordination
-
Track shipments and update customers on delivery schedules.
-
Liaise with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely dispatch.
-
Resolve shipping and documentation issues.
4. Reporting & Administration
-
Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases.
-
Prepare monthly export sales reports.
-
Support market research and competitor analysis.
-
Assist in preparing documents for trade fairs and international exhibitions.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Retail, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in export sales or international trade (preferred).
-
Knowledge of export procedures and international shipping documentation.
-
Familiarity with Intercoms and customs regulations is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
