TimberLife KZN (GR Cabins) - VACANCY: SALES REPRESENTATIVE
We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at GR Cabins driving and promoting sales growth. The main responsibilities of a Sales Representative revolve around the ability to network, build relationships with clients and conclude sales transactions. As a Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact with potential clients through prospecting and creating sales opportunities.
Key Duties
1. Attending to clients via telephone, mobile phone, email, walk-in, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.
2. Advise customers on the product features and attributes
3. Engaging with relevant customers/businesses and their representatives
4. Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
5. Assisting the Sales Manager / General Manager with ad-hoc/special projects and quotations
6. Updating business templates and customer databases.
7. Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue business relationships
8. Arrange and coordinate meetings with customers as and when required
9. Collaborate with other colleagues
10. Achieve minimum weekly, monthly, annual productivity and sales goals and/or targets
The ideal candidate must have the following:
1. Minimum Grade 12 Qualification
2. Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience essential
3. Sales experience in a construction, hardware, timber or related environment will be advantageous
4. Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Office package
5. Must have Driver’s License and be willing to travel for work. Code 10 will be advantageous.
