About the role
We’re looking for a reliable Driver / General Worker to help with furniture collections, deliveries and general warehouse duties. You’ll drive our vehicles, assist with loading and off-loading, and help keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
Key duties
Local collections and deliveries of furniture and appliances Safely loading, securing and off-loading items at clients and the warehouse Basic paperwork: getting client signatures, handling cash where required Daily vehicle checks (oil, water, tyres, lights, licences, load security) General warehouse work: packing, moving stock etc Requirements
Valid SA driver’s licence (Code 10 with PDP preferred) Previous driving experience with trucks or large vehicles Physically fit – able to lift and move furniture Sober habits, reliable attendance and good timekeeping Able to work Mondays to Fridays, 08:00–17:30, Sat 08:00 - 16:00 with paid overtime Must be willing to follow company procedures, including vehicle checks, safety rules and random alcohol testing as per company policy Foreign nationals: valid work permit required MUST Live within 5 km of Montague Gardens What we offer
