Introduction:Our client is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Network Team Member to support network installations, maintenance, and operational readiness. This role is field-based and requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety, reporting, and equipment management procedures.
The position involves daily site work, tool management, stock control, and clear, accurate reporting to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of below Network Infrastructures:
- IP (CAT5, CAT6 & CAT6A & Fibre) Networks
- Coaxial/PoWax Networks
- 485 Networks
The Network Team Member will support the Network Team Leader in the execution of all daily, weekly, and monthly operational activities. This includes assisting with the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, ensuring that all work is completed according to company standards, safety regulations, and project specifications
Responsibilities include site preparation, cable routing and termination, equipment mounting, fault identification, basic diagnostics, tool and stock management, and accurate reporting of completed work.
The Network Team Member will also ensure that all installations are neat, compliant, and fully operational before handover.
Health, Safety & Physical Requirements:
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders
- Strict adherence to safety procedures and correct PPE usage
- Immediate reporting of hazards, defects, or safety concerns
Desired Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- Successful Police Clearance Certificate/Report.
- Passed Medical Check with Clearance to Work at Heights.
- Valid Working at Heights Certificate (Basic Fall Arrest).
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Residence close to or in Pretoria East.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written).
- Contactable professional references.
- Matric (National Senior Certificate) NQF Level 4
