A dynamic financial services company is looking for an experienced Credit Risk Advisor with a strong understanding of credit risk management, debtors and creditors exposure, and the ability to provide value-added insights to clients. Responsibilities:

Gather, analyse, and share market, risk, debtor, and financial information to identify potential client risks.

Recommend risk mitigation strategies to safeguard client interests and ensure compliance.

Manage and support direct reports, including Assistant Credit Risk Advisors and Debt Recovery Specialists, through coaching and leadership.

Plan and coordinate work for teams, ensuring alignment with customer service goals and operational standards.
-
Conduct client visits to assess risk, negotiate security requirements, and provide market intelligence.
-
Manage credit insurance applications, claims, and policy reviews in conjunction with insurers.
-
Oversee pre-legal and legal recovery processes, liaising with attorneys, liquidators, and business rescue practitioners.

Produce monthly and ad hoc reports for clients and senior management, ensuring timely updates on risks and progress.
Requirements:

Relevant degree or diploma in finance, economics, law, or business management.

Experience in credit risk, debtors and creditors management, and dealing with credit insurers.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Competency in using financial systems, preparing reports, and interpreting financial statements.
