Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Compile annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Support group reporting and consolidations where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal control policies.
- Liaise with external auditors and assist throughout the audit process.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business strategy.
- Identify and drive improvements in financial processes and reporting efficiencies.
Requirements:
- Qualified CA(SA).
- 13 years post-articles experience in a commercial or reporting-focused role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of IFRS.
- Exposure to group reporting and consolidations (advantageous).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at various levels.
