Description:
We are a dynamic manufacturing company specializing in precision components for industrial filtration systems. We are looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and support our machining and manufacturing operations.
Main Responsibilities:
• Mechanical design using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor)
• Produce detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Perform calculations and design reviews
• Prepare and issue job cards for machinists and manufacturing teams
• Review assessment reports for repair components and prepare detailed technical reports based on findings
• Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet company and industry standards
• Support manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly teams
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and quality systems
• Participate in project planning and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy engineering, mining, or industrial equipment
Requirements:
- Autodesk Inventor: 2 to 3 years
- Mechanical Engineer: 1 to 2 years
- Manufacturing: 1 to 2 years
- Draughting Experience: 2 to 3 years
- National Diploma / B.Tech / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3 years (or more) of mechanical design experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor software
- Experience in heavy engineering, mining, or industrial equipment
- Practical, hands-on mindset with exposure to factory/manufacturing environments highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and assessment reports
- Good communication and teamwork skills
