Electronic Application Engineer vacancy in Paarl, Cape Town. MEng or BEng in Electronic Engineering with 4-10 years’ experience is required. The purpose of this role includes Product development, design, testing, and production; managing project scope before, during, and after delivery; and supporting existing products and clients. Minimum requirements:

• MEng or BEng in Electronic Engineering
• 4-10 years’ experience
• Any related hands-on experience in electronic design.
• Proto-typing, hardware verification, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
• Working knowledge of Altium Designer or similar CAD package.
• Proficient with MCU firmware development in C and C++, as well as GitLab for version control.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing the electronic hardware design and development of modules.
• Capture requirements.
• Develop/Synthesize and propose solutions.
• Source components and develop prototypes.
• Industrialize/Commercialize designs for high volume production.
• Ensure designs are qualified and validated.
• Drafting test specifications.
• Documenting test results.
• Product life cycle support.
• Provide support to clients and manage the product supply chain.
