Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to take responsibility for daily bank processing, reconciliations, and commercial invoicing. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, timely invoicing, and effective management of customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
-Process daily bank transactions and accurately allocate receipts and payments
-Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date cashbook records
-Prepare, verify, and issue commercial invoices in line with contractual agreements and pricing structures
-Process credit notes, adjustments, and billing corrections where required
-Maintain billing schedules and supporting documentation
-Perform debtor reconciliations and follow up on outstanding accounts
-Liaise with clients and internal departments regarding account queries
-Assist with month-end procedures and financial reporting
-Maintain organised financial records and filing systems
-Support the Financial Manager with ad hoc finance duties
Minimum Requirements
-Relevant accounting/bookkeeping qualification
-3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
-Proven experience with bank reconciliations and commercial invoicing
-Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar)
-Strong MS Excel skills
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail
-Drivers License and own reliable transport
