This is a high-impact role reporting to the Financial Director, where you will partner closely with senior leadership and executives to drive financial insight, performance optimisation, and strategic decision-making across the business.As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing financial performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and delivering meaningful insights that influence strategic and operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse monthly financial results against budget and prior year, highlighting variances and providing detailed commentary Prepare and support budgets, forecasts, and detailed financial reports for leadership Develop and maintain financial models to assess business initiatives and strategic projects Analyse KPIs and financial statements to identify risks, cost efficiencies, and revenue enhancement opportunities Assist with board packs and executive-level financial presentations Drive process improvements and optimise finance business processes Support group structure optimisation, entity analysis, valuations, and tax impact assessments Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and reporting standards Participate in ad hoc strategic and finance transformation projects Requirements:
Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical expertise Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems Excellent understanding of financial principles and reporting standards Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability Advantageous:
Experience with Cognos / TM1 Exposure to finance process optimisation and project management Track record of driving system and reporting improvementsWhat Youll Bring:
