Company and Job Description:A well-established and innovative manufacturing organisation based in Centurion is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting skills and experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate monthly management accounts Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure general ledger integrity Manage fixed assets, journals, accruals, and provisions Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with IFRS Prepare statutory returns (VAT, tax-related submissions, etc.) Work closely with operational teams to provide financial insights Assist with process improvements and system enhancements
Job Experience and Skills Required:
BCom degree in Accounting or Finance
Completed SAIPA articles
2 - 3 years experience in a Manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and deadline-driven
