Key Responsibilities:
Extract, clean and analyse data from databases and data warehouses to uncover meaningful insights. Build dashboards and visual reports that enable business teams to monitor performance and drive strategic decisions. Partner with crossâ??functional teams to understand data needs and convert them into actionable analysis. Maintain high data quality by identifying gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improved data integrity. Support ongoing enhancements to analytical processes, tools and reporting frameworks.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education (Minimum): Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field Experience: 03 years experience in data analysis or related fields Technical Skills: SQL (essential) Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar Strong Excel / spreadsheet capability Python or R (advantageous) Soft Skills / Nonâ??Negotiables: Must be based in Cape Town Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Clear communication skills, especially when presenting insights to nonâ??technical audiences Curiosity, attention to detail and a proactive attitude Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment
