Junior Logistics Controller – Ubuntu Logistics & Transportation (Pty) Ltd
We are looking for a Junior Logistics Controller to join our team and assist with the day-to-day operations of our transport division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Logistics Manager by overseeing truck movements, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring that all deliveries and collections run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing drivers to ensure timely arrival at loading and offloading points Monitor route progress and communicate with drivers throughout the day Supervise breakdowns and arrange immediate roadside support where needed Track and schedule truck maintenance and repairs Keep accurate records of trips, delays, and truck availability Assist with logistics planning and general admin dutiesRequirements:
Matric certificate (logistics or transport qualification will be advantageous) Good communication and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively Willingness to work irregular hours when necessary Experience in transport or logistics environment (even at entry level) is a plus Must be computer literate (basic Excel and email)Location: Based in Epping
