The Role: Business Development Representative
This role is focused on driving new business within the UK packaging sector. You'll take ownership of outbound sales, targeting prospective clients through cold calling and relationship-building. Your key objective is to convert leads into long-term customers while managing ongoing orders and identifying opportunities for account growth.
Key Responsibilities

Minimum 2 years of outbound B2B sales, telesales, or business development experience

Conduct high-volume cold calls to B2B prospects in the UK

Identify decision-makers and qualify new business opportunities

Present tailored packaging solutions confidently and professionally

Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to maximise profitability

Close deals and meet or exceed monthly targets

Maintain an accurate pipeline and activity tracking in HubSpot CRM

Develop and grow existing accounts through upselling and relationship management

Collaborate with internal teams to optimise targeting and sales strategy
About You

2+ years of experience in outbound B2B sales or business development

Strong cold-calling skills and comfort speaking to new prospects

Confident communicator with excellent objection-handling ability

Highly target-driven, resilient, and motivated by commission

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

Proficient with CRM tools (HubSpot experience is an advantage)
