Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end bookkeeping and financial processing
- Cashbook management, monitoring, and reconciliations
- General ledger maintenance and trial balance reviews
- Cash flow planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Budgeting support and financial control oversight
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payment processes
- Training, mentoring, and supervising junior finance staff
- Ensuring internal controls are applied, monitored, and continuously improved
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Completed BCom degree (minimum requirement)
- Minimum 3 years relevant accounting experience
- Construction industry exposure highly preferred
- BuildSmart experience advantageous
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Solid bookkeeping foundation with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities
