Our client, a well-established operation in the agricultural sector, is seeking to appoint an energetic, creative and reliable candidate to lead and manage their facility maintenance team.
MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Hoedspruit
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in maintenance management and planning
· At least 3-year hands-on maintenance or related trade experience
· Relevant qualification in maintenance planning, management, mechanical or electrical field
· Packhouse experience will be advantageous
· Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance systems
· Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
· Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions
· Strong leadership skills with experience managing a multidisciplinary maintenance team
· Good understanding of maintenance budgets and cost control
Key Responsibilities:
· Scheduling and project management of maintenance activities
· Planning, managing and controlling maintenance budgets
· Implement and manage a proactive preventative maintenance strategy
· Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure optimal functioning of all electrical and mechanical systems
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance and service activities
· Manage procurement of spare parts and replacement equipment
· Oversee all repair and installation projects
· Manage and maintain a digital maintenance system (CMMS)
· Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
· Lead facility improvement projects and ensure timely execution
