This role offers exposure to project-based finance and construction accounting, including oversight of AR/AP clerks and use of Buildsmart systems. You will play a key role in financial reporting and operational support within a growing construction business.
Immediate responsibility, leadership exposure, and the opportunity to gain experience in project-based finance and construction systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee AR/AP clerks and daily accounting operations
Manage financial reporting for projects
Provide support for Buildsmart system processes
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and project cost tracking
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
BCom +
Experience:
35 years experience in construction/project-based accounting
Exposure to Buildsmart systems advantageous
Skills:
Strong Excel and reporting skills
Ability to manage a small team of clerks
Non-negotiables:
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently in a project-based environment
