Key Responsibilities:
Design and build end-to-end BI solutions that extract, transform, and load data from multiple systems into the reporting data warehouse. Collaborate with end users and analysts to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide estimations to management. Support and maintain existing BI platforms, reverse engineer processes, and implement improvements. Mentor and coach junior team members, promoting best practices across the team. Ensure that solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant Computer/Information Systems qualification with majors in Information Management, Finance, or Mathematics (NQF6+) Degree (NQF7+) preferred
Minimum Requirements & Experience:
3+ years ETL/business intelligence development experience in Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, and SSIS) Proficient in MS SQL Server, SQL, SSIS, SSAS, DevOps, and PowerApps 1+ year of Power BI report development experience Advanced knowledge of ETL methodologies and the full SDLC Experience designing solutions following Kimball methodology and solid understanding of data modelling concepts Experience/knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional data modelling, and cubes
