GENERAL MANAGER – OPERATIONS AND FINANCEEastern Free State, VredeA leading animal feed manufacturer with established operations in the Eastern Free State, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic General Manager: Operations and Finance to play a key role in the sustainable growth and profitability of the business Minimum requirements:- Matric
- BCom Finance / BCom Accounting / CA(SA) / CIMA / MBA (with a strong financial focus) or an equivalent financial or management qualification
- Proven senior management and financial experience, preferably within manufacturing, agriculture, or the animal feed industry
- Strong financial acumen with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound understanding of production costs and operational finance
- Develop, manage and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts and long-term financial plans in collaboration with the Managing Director
- Oversee cost control, margin analysis, profitability and financial performance of the business
- Conduct financial analysis of production costs, raw materials and operational efficiency
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls and compliance with financial standards
- Lead, mentor and support the Financial Manager
- Oversee daily production and operational activities of the animal feed plant with hands-on involvement
- Drive process optimisation, efficiency improvements and achievement of production targets
- Manage operational budgets and coordinate with production, logistics, and procurement teams
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
- Matric
