Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable handyman to join our team and assist with the upkeep of our commercial properties. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in various trades and be proactive in identifying and resolving maintenance issues. You will work alongside a dedicated team to ensure that our properties are always well-maintained and in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to complete repairs and projects.
* Perform general maintenance and repairs, including:
* Joinery / Carpentry – repairing doors, frames, cupboards, shelving, etc.
* Painting & Touch-ups – maintaining a professional appearance of the property.
* Basic electrical and plumbing work
* Conduct routine inspections of the property and report any issues.
* Assist in coordinating with external contractors for projects
* Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a commercial property environment.
* Knowledge of joinery, plumbing, painting, and basic electrical work.
* Valid driver’s license. (THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE)
* No criminal record.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and organization skills.
* Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
