Description:

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets within an assigned geographic territory. The role combines strategic planning, field sales execution, and team coordination to expand Libra Marketing’s market share and customer footprint in the region.

Sales & Territory Managemen t

  • Develop and execute effective sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the territory and pursue new business leads.
  • Maintain regular field visits to customers (retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and key accounts).
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product demand patterns.
  • Forecast sales and submit accurate reporting to the Regional Sales Director.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and resolve client queries or issues promptly.
  • Conduct product presentations and training for customer staff when needed.

Team & Operations Support

  • Work closely with internal departments (warehouse, logistics, marketing) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Support and mentor junior sales personnel or field agents where required.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

        • Matric (Grade 12) is required; tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field is an advantage.

        • Valid driver’s licence with willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
