Description:

A leading healthcare company is looking for an experienced Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Co-Ordinator to oversee infection control programs, implement policies, train staff, and ensure a safe and compliant environment for patients and healthcare workers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IPC policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Conduct staff training and in-service education on infection control.

  • Audit cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization practices.

  • Lead outbreak investigations and implement isolation protocols.

  • Monitor compliance with needle stick injury policies and safety procedures.

  • Maintain infection control records and documentation.

  • Advise staff and management on infection prevention measures.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a safe clinical environment.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with SANC registration.

  • Post-basic qualification in Infection Prevention & Control.

  • Minimum of two years’ experience as an IPC nurse.

  • Current BLS/ACLS certification.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with attention to detail.
