Description:
A leading healthcare company is looking for an experienced Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Co-Ordinator to oversee infection control programs, implement policies, train staff, and ensure a safe and compliant environment for patients and healthcare workers.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IPC policies, procedures, and programs.

Conduct staff training and in-service education on infection control.
-
Audit cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization practices.
-
Lead outbreak investigations and implement isolation protocols.
-
Monitor compliance with needle stick injury policies and safety procedures.
-
Maintain infection control records and documentation.
-
Advise staff and management on infection prevention measures.
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Requirements:
-
Registered Nurse with SANC registration.
-
Post-basic qualification in Infection Prevention & Control.
-
Minimum of two years’ experience as an IPC nurse.
-
Current BLS/ACLS certification.
-
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with attention to detail.
