Minimum Requirements:An agricultural qualification (degree or diploma) would be beneficial, though not essential 35 years proven experience in a farm management or middle management role within the citrus sector Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail Innovative thinker with the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously Confident leader with solid people management and supervision skills Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects within set timeframes Computer literate Willing and able to reside in the Addo area Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the crop estimation process, working closely with farm teams and Supply Chain to ensure accurate and up-to-date planning information Oversee and implement all core farming programmes, including fertilisation, spraying, pruning, planting, and harvesting Provide strong leadership during harvesting to ensure production targets are met, while maintaining close communication with the Area Manager and packhouse to align harvesting and packing schedules Monitor daily farming operations to ensure expenditure remains within approved budgets Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational performance Foster positive working relationships with internal departments and farm staff Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
