Key Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and secure new business within the Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
- Conduct client needs analysis and present tailored office automation and IT solutions
- Cross-sell and upsell products and services to new and existing clients
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term retention
- Keep CRM systems and sales reports up to date
Minimum Requirements
- 35 years sales experience in Office Automation, Managed Print, IT or related B2B solutions
- Proven track record of new business development
- Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
- Computer literate (MS Office and CRM systems)
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
- Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel within the region
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling printers, copiers, MFPs, managed print services or IT solutions
- Exposure to competitive sales environments and vendor take-outs
- Existing relationships within SME or corporate markets
