Description:
Our client in the banking industry is looking for a SAP Planning & Analytics Engineer to join their team!The resource will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery, enhancement, and support of a financial planning solution for a Technology function, implemented using SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Delivery will be executed in alignment with a SAFe / Agile operating model.
Scope of work and deliverables:
Software Engineering & Solution Delivery
- Analyse and define technical work required for new features and enhancements within the SAP BPC / SAC Planning Solution.
- Provide estimates for effort, sizing, sequencing, and delivery timelines.
- Engineer, configure, and deploy planning functionality to support approved business requirements.
- Produce and provide outputs from component and integration testing.
- Prepare and execute implementation and cutover plans.
- Participate in PI, Sprint, and Production planning, including estimation in story points, in line with the SAFe framework.
- Deliver allocated PI / Sprint / Production story points as committed.
- Obtain formal sign-off on deliverables from designated Technology and Business stakeholders.
Production Support
- Provide ongoing production support for the SAP BPC / SAC Planning Solution.
- Analyse, resolve, and deploy fixes for identified defects and incidents.
- Provide evidence of successful defect resolution and testing outputs.
- Deliver allocated PI / Sprint / Production story points related to production support activities.
- Obtain confirmation of completeness and acceptance from designated stakeholders.
Program and Agile Team Support
- Support the agile delivery process by providing input to the Scrum Master during PI planning.
- Participate in regular stand-ups, ceremonies, and planning sessions, providing accurate progress updates and feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective and timely delivery of commitments.
- Deliver allocated PI / Sprint / Production story points as per agreed plans.
- Obtain confirmation of completeness and acceptance from designated stakeholders.
