Responsibilities:

Facilitate clinical training, development, and learning for nursing staff and students.

Plan, coordinate, and manage training and development calendars.

Support assessment processes, including marking of case studies and assignments.

Maintain accurate clinical and training records.

Lead and participate in academic, research, and development initiatives.

Apply and maintain adult learning methodologies in clinical facilitation.

Conduct staff orientation and ongoing training initiatives.
-
Perform patient and ward rounds to ensure quality care and service standards.

Reinforce professional discipline and clinical standards among nursing staff.
-
Oversee documentation, reporting, and updating of care plans and clinical blueprints.
Requirements:

Relevant nursing qualification (B Cur Degree or equivalent education qualification).
-
Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
-
Compliance with SANC regulations and applicable healthcare legislation.
-
Assessor and Moderator certification.
-
BLS Instructor certification.
-
Minimum 2 years post-basic clinical experience and at least 2 years in a similar role.

Experience in clinical training, mentoring, and student facilitation.
-
Strong leadership, organisational, and analytical skills.

Advanced computer literacy.
