Job Description
You will:
- Supervise daily site operations, ensuring all construction activities run smoothly and according to the project plan.
- Coordinate subcontractors and workers, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Implement and uphold quality control procedures, ensuring workmanship meets Pentagon Projects high-quality benchmarks.
- Ensure strict health and safety compliance on-site, including conducting toolbox talks and enforcing safety protocols.
- Monitor progress against schedules, identifying delays early and reporting issues to the Site Manager or Project Manager.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications, ensuring teams understand and correctly execute project requirements.
- Manage materials and resources, including ordering supplies, preventing waste, and maintaining stock levels.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, site diaries, attendance registers, and progress reports.
- Oversee site inspections, ensuring work is prepared for partner or client walkthroughs and meets regulatory standards.
- Foster professional communication, liaising with clients, engineers, inspectors, and the project team to ensure smooth project delivery.
