Description:
RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established building construction company based in Johannesburg, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and residential sectors is currently seeking an experienced Site Agent / Construction Supervisor to join their firm and oversee site operations from demolition through to construction and completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise daily site operations, including demolition and new construction works
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and construction programmes
- Report progress to project management and senior leadership
- Resolve on-site issues and ensure smooth project execution
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) degree in Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, or
- BSc Construction Management with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or
- National Diploma in Building with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
- Proven experience in both demolition and building construction
- Strong site management and leadership skills
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s licence (preferred)
Benefits:
Salary: R540K – R660K CTC per annum, negotiable
