Description:
Duties and Responsibilities: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery, including crushers, conveyors, pumps, and related equipment. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs during scheduled and unscheduled plant shutdowns. Install, test, and commission mechanical systems in accordance with industry standards. Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a culture of zero harm. Complete job cards, maintenance reports, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with engineering, production, and safety teams to ensure optimal equipment performance. Qualifications: Trade Certificate - Artisan, A Senior Certificate - Grade 12 (Matric)Skills: Valid Trade Certificate - Fitter, Minimum 5 years experience after completion of Trade in a Chrome Ore beneficiation and ROM Plant, Crushing, screening & conveyor belt experience, Own reliable transport - not negotiable, Mining/Plant experience, Clean criminal record, medically fit.
