Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of Weekly Wages for hourly paid employees, duties related to employee deductions and benefits and front office administration.

The front office admin duties include: operating the switchboard, ordering and managing office stationery, purchase order generation, receipt of counter deliveries and arranging courier collections of counter items. This role supports all Line Functions.

The vacancy is for a small - medium sized manufacturing company situated in Krugersdorp. Interested candidates must reside in the West Rand area.

Requirements:

Education :

  • Matric / equivalent

Tertiary Qualification :

  • Bookkeeping / Certificate in Wage Processing or HR discipline.

Experience:

  • 1 - 2 years traceable experience in Wage capturing, preferably on Psiber payroll solutions.
  • 1 - 2 years traceable experience on Syspro with regards generating purchase orders.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Working with time sheets for Wages capturing.
  • Understanding BCEA, UIF and SARS legislation relating to Employee benefits and deductions.
  • Familiarity with the Main Agreement for the Metal Industry would be an added advantage.
  • Switchboard operation and telephone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of purchase requisition capture and raising purchase orders.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Deadline driven.
